What technology breakthrough would pave the way for the ICT industry?

Enhancing communications has long been a key driver for all of us in the IT and telecommunications space. This year, it has become more important than ever. As we all have moved to working and learning from our homes, embracing and creating more meaningful ways to communicate with each other will be increasingly important. Post-COVID-19, we will see even more uses and development of real-time apps that encourage better collaboration and communication. There will be a rise of “TeleHuddle” styled apps.

Similar to a football huddle, a TeleHuddle gives you the opportunity to call the team together and set the play. TeleHuddle real-time apps will enable teams to discuss challenges, ideas, set their plans, and drive results. As we all reevaluate how to work remotely, we will see more and more innovative apps that will allow us all to do this in real-time and with increased capabilities.

What new apps would be a game-change in the next five (5) years?

Remote healthcare services will no doubt be on the rise over the next five years, especially for non-emergency situations. With telehealth apps, you can get prescriptions and treatment quickly without having to leave your house. Many offer support and provide assistance whether you have insurance or not. We can expect to see a rise in telehealth capabilities, especially when combined with advancements in wearable AI-driven devices that will also positively impact healthcare in our near future. Being able to get more data in real-time will truly change the way we address our health and well-being.
