The PTC conference is a mainstay of the telecom and data center conference circuit, and this year, 1623 Farnam was thrilled to make the long journey to sunny Honolulu where we had the opportunity to shake hands, make new connections and rejoin with old friends.

While on site, our VP of Business Development Greg Elliott sat down with JSA TV to offer some insight into what makes our interconnection hub and edge data center so special. Of course, it starts with our strong foundations in Omaha and is underscored by our on-site internet exchange (if you haven’t checked out OmahaIX yet, now’s your chance). However, what makes the connectivity advantages at this locale so strong comes down to the power of connections and the strength of our growing ecosystem. Our high-value peers, partners and platforms are what help us deliver the rich opportunities our customers need, and as these partners continue to expand their presence at 1623 (like when Akamai went from 40G to 400G), the value only goes up. Similarly, traffic continues to hit new heights at OmahaIX due people tuning into live sports, online gaming and more. It’s a great time to be a part of the ecosystem.

As a carrier-neutral facility, our customers are partners, and we’re excited to say that even more partner expansions and collaborations are coming down the pipeline — all of which promise to make this spot in Omaha even more strategic.

Greg offered a lot more to explore about 1623 Farnam in the full interview, so don’t miss this PTC ’23 exclusive.
